The United Way of Southern Chautauqua County is accepting nominations for its 2019 Joseph H. Mason Award.

The nomination form is available by visiting uwayscc.org/2019-joseph-h-mason-award-nomination-form or by calling 483-1561. Nominations will be accepted through June 6.

Every year, United Way presents the Joseph H. Mason Award to a union member or staff person whose volunteer service to the community honors the spirt of involvement exhibited by late Joseph H. Mason. Last year, Steven Nowell, a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 106, was recognized as the 2018 Joseph H. Mason Award winner.

“Steven honors the Mason family legacy in many ways, and the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County was pleased to name him as the 2018 Joseph H. Mason Award Winner,” said Amy Rohler, United Way of Southern Chautauqua County executive director. “We are just as excited to see who will be nominated and who will receive the 2019 Joseph H. Mason Award.”
